Xiaomi launches the Mi A2 and Mi A2 Lite


 Xiaomi has released another feature-packed mid-range smartphone pair with the Mi A2 and Mi A2 Lite.
Powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor, the Mi A2 comes with 4GB of RAM with 64GB internal storage, or 6GB of RAM with 128GB memory.


 The 20-megapixel front camera with f/2.2 aperture lets users take clear portrait selfies, while the rear dual-camera setup sports 12-megapixel + 20-megapixel sensors, both with large f/1.75 apertures that lets in more light, making it ideal for taking pictures in low light situations.
While its predecessor the Mi A1 has a 5.5in screen, the Mi A2 boasts a 5.99in FHD+ (1,080 x 2,160) display with 18:9 aspect ratio. Powered by a 3,010mAh battery, it uses a USB Type-C connectivity for charging.
Xiaomi uses Type-C it's better to hear.
Running on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor, it has 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory. Surprisingly, it has a bigger 4,000mAh battery compared to its pricier counterpart.
The Mi A2 Lite has a 5.84in FHD+ (1,080 x 2,280) display with a 19:9 aspect ratio, a 12-megapixel and 5-megapixel dual-camera system on the rear, and a front camera that sports a 5-megapixel sensor.
Both devices run on Android One OS – also known as the purest form of Android – that comes minus bloatware and receives more regular software updates as well as security patches for a more secure and improved user experience.
Available on Aug 4, the Xiaomi Mi A2 comes in Gold, Blue and Black, and is priced at RM999 (for 4GB RAM) and RM1,199 (for 6GB RAM), while the Mi A2 Lite comes in Gold, Blue and Black at RM699 and will be available on Aug 18.
